PRINT DESIGN & TYPOGRAPHY

  • I made this poster in early 2010. I can't remember if I was actually bored or not, but I must have had some time on my hands.
The goal of the project was to draw tension between the words and the custom font.

  • Reverb needed a new sticker and logo design in February of 2010. We collaborated to produce a square sticker that could be placed
in bars and venues across the city of Denver. The bright color palette was chosen so the sticker would be easily seen in dark places,
like a bar bathroom. Published by The Denver Post, denvereverb.com is Denver's leading music blog.

  • Design almost always serves a purpose. This project, simply titled Free Pamphlets, analyzes what happens when you remove that purpose.
25 in total, each pamphlet has a hand written scenerio of what you might do with a pamphlet.
Some are funny, some aren't. You can see more of this project on my blog.

  • Personal project titled Ski Maps. The project stems from a resort job I had in Snowmass, CO. During my eight hour shifts I was always passing out ski maps,
town maps and brochures. I decided to make my own. 100 copies of Ski Maps was passed out to tourists and skiers over a two day period in January, 2011.

  • In the fall of 2010 I created a project titled 7 places. The piece revolves around a series of places,
which in turn revolve around a series of pamphlets. Drawing a connection between narrative, place and memory, each pamphlet
highlights a place I spent a significant amount of time at while growing up in Denver. More of this project can be
    seen on my blog.
